The company’s aim with the Malt family is to create a line of chairs and tables that share visual cues and common values, while each member of the family also possesses a strong individual and distinctive character of its own. Aodh has sought to return to a certain archetype with regard to form. A design that somehow belonged in yesterday, but also today and tomorrow.

Universal design – multiple applications and decorative atmospheres. Malt has been designed to be furniture that is not area or use specific. It feels at home in hotels, restaurants, work spaces and private dwellings.

The series is realised in solid american light oak or american walnut. Upholstered seats are available in customer’s own material, leather or special Donegal Tweed, selected by Aodh.
